Why NEXORA Exists
NEXORA Partnerships Ltd was founded by Shima Kaur — an international education professional with decades of experience working at the intersection of higher education, government relations and global partnership development. Having spent her career inside universities, government bodies and international organisations, Shima witnessed first-hand the gap between institutional ambition and international achievement.
Too many institutions had the potential to become truly global — but lacked the connections, strategy and specialist support to get there. NEXORA was founded to close that gap. Not as a transactional consultancy, but as a genuine strategic partner: one that invests in understanding your institution, your values and your goals before recommending a single course of action.

Shima Kaur is one of the UK's most experienced international education partnership professionals. Her career spans senior roles across higher education institutions, government advisory bodies and international organisations, giving her a rare and comprehensive understanding of the full international education landscape.
She has brokered and managed partnerships across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Africa and Central Asia — working with universities, ministries of education, scholarship bodies and research institutions at the highest levels.
Her approach is defined by a commitment to genuine relationship-building, cultural intelligence and strategic rigour. She does not believe in quick wins or transactional engagements — only in partnerships built to last.
